In Search of Leaders

I have been less frequent in blogging for the past one month as I have been very busy in extracting voter records from the lists published in pdf form by the Election Commission. You can see the results of my work at http://plumasol.com/mlc/

There are thousands of errors (in about 1,20,000 records – making it a small % or errors) in the data on the site, which I am progressively correcting. There are many lessons I have learnt which I shall share with you later. I have proto-typed several ideas to improve the voter list, reduce confusion, and increase voter participation.

In Ashwin Mahesh, we have a highly qualified, experienced and pragmatic person contesting for the Graduate Constituency at Bangalore. Read what Dr. Balu says about him and assures that a few good men can make a difference.

I shall be more regular with blogs starting next week.

I am extremely happy about the appointment of Dr. Balu to the prestigious Frank H T Rhodes Visiting Professorship of Cornell University.  This appointment made for excellence of achievement is for 3 years.

We are proud of you Dr. Balu!
